Only a few miles south of Fayetteville, AR, Devil’s Den State Park is home to one of the best views in the state. Take the Yellow Rock trail, 3 miles round trip, to the famous Yellow Rock that overlooks the Lee Creek Valley!

Located in the heart of the university, Old Main was the university’s first building back when it was Arkansas Industrial University in the 1800’s. Today Old Main is still standing tall and is surrounded by green lawn, trees and is across from the Inn at Carnall Hall. For an extra special spot, check out Spoofer’s Stone, a popular spot for proposals with a romantic history unique to the university.


Artist’s Point/Boston Mountains Scenic OverlookArkansas Jewelry Diamond Engagement Artists Point Boston Mountains

This spot is part of the Boston Mountains Scenic Loop and has an incredible view of the Ozarks and White Rock Mountain. In addition, just down from the overlook and museum/gift shop is the trail leading to Artist Point Falls!


Eureka Springs Arkansas/Thorncrown Chapel

Thorncrown Chapel is located just west of Eureka Springs, AR. The chapel opened in 1980 and was built by Fay Jones. Admission to the chapel is free and there is plenty of parking. Make sure to refer to the Thorncrown Chapel website for their hours, as they vary depending on the season.

Opened in 2005 and free to the public, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is located in Bentonville, AR. The museum itself is beautiful glass bridges all overlooking a central pond. The museum also has walking trails and a sculpture garden.

Considered by many as the heart of Fayetteville, the town square boasts a long list of attractions. From coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants to the Fayetteville Farmers Market on Saturdays, there is always something uniquely Fayetteville to do. For a truly spectacular backdrop, head to the square starting in late November to experience the Lights of the Ozarks holiday light display.

Hawksbill Crag is one of the most iconic spots in Northwest Arkansas. The Whitaker Point trailhead is located in Ponca, Arkansas and it is a quick three mile round trip hike. The rock itself is hard to miss and offers an incredible view of Buffalo River country.

Carnall Hall was the original girls dorm at the University of Arkansas. It was named after the first female faculty member at the U of A, Miss Ella Howison Carnall. In 2001, it underwent extensive restorations to be turned into the beautiful inn and restaurant it is today.
