Meet the Gemologist

Brendon Padilla is our gemologist. He is certified by the Gemological Institute of America. Brendon will insure you receive the proper documentation for your insurer. You will also have a copy you can keep in your records should you want to sell your jewelry or watch in the future. When you come to the jewelry appraisal, it will help us if you bring any documentation you might already have, such as a sales slip, a diamond or gemstone grading report, or warranties if they exist.

Carat weight for gold
Stamping of percentage on platinum
The mounting metals
For gemstones and diamonds, the 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat weight)

Deliverables

To complete your jewelry appraisal, you will receive a detailed report, with pictures and diagrams, and a statement of what your jewelry or watches are worth.
